Roberts is collecting new Toys for the Holiday Season!  These toys will be distributed to children in need in Little Rock.  So let's get these toys in and STUFF THE SLEIGH!!!

Book Character Day at Roberts was Great!  I can't believe that I actually get to teach at this amazing school.  Every event that we plan here I think to myself the amount of enormous support we have from our parents.  As an educator this is a dream job....EVERYDAY!  I can't wait for you to see some our pics and videos from today!!

Happy Birthday Grant, VIPS Reading Day and NEW SCOOTERS!!!

Happy Birthday Grant!! Yesterday we were having Internet problems at Roberts so I couldn't post the day of his actual Birthday!

Yesterday we also had a VIPS Reader!  She was Ms. Kelly and  it was so neat for the kids!  She has a sister that is hearing impared and she did some sign language with the children!  The kids have shown such an intrest in sign language through our letter study!  We use the sign language link on starfall.com. It was an awesome "real life " example for the children.

 





ANOTHER BUSY MONDAY!!

Another Busy Monday in Pre-K!  Today we celebrated two Birthdays today!  Happy Birthday Annor and Sophie!

Grant wrote a Morning Message today in the Classroom!  This was a must share....

We have a New Addition to our Classroom!  Thanks to the Lynn Family we have a Teepee in our Housekeeping Center!  Check it out....



OUR STAR OF THE WEEK IS JOSHUA GORDON!!

 

Our Star of the Week is Joshua Gordon.  He has a vivid imagination and always keeps up laughing!  He brought juice, jello, jewelry, and Jingle Bells for all of the kids!   Joshua also brought his favorite game and his favorite stuffed animal “Sherman.”  I truly believe Joshua will be a writer someday or writing for a sitcom!!  He is a true entertainer!

A BIG MILESTONE!!!!!

Today in class we hit a milestone!  I am so proud to announce that Juan raised his hand and added a word to our "F" web today!  We have been waiting on this to happen all year!  He is doing so well!  We were so proud!  It was a must share moment!

We completed our Ff week with FUN FRIDAY!!!  We had some extra recess and had more playtime with our new toys!

OOOOOOO-LA-LA! Pre-K goes Fancy for Letter Ff!!!

As a teacher there are days that you won't forget....well today was one of them!  The children were adorable in their fancy clothes and they were so precious walking together to the Dining Room!  I have some pics ready today and I will post more tomorrow.  We had such a great time and a BIG THANK YOU for the parents that contributed to this special event!

New Toys!!!

This week we received some new items for our classroom!  We were very excited about these additions!  Check out Andre and Annor working the new alphabet floor puzzle!

Tomorrow is Fancy Day!  We have been practicing for our Fancy Feast to celebrate the Letter Ff!  Many cute pics tomorrow!!!

WARNING....STOMACH BUG!!

Well....It has hit our room!  We have had numerous children out with a Stomach Bug!  At least we have a long weekend to recover and get well!  Ms. Gomillion and I did a deep cleaning this morning in the classroom!!!!  For the friends that were here today...We reviewed all of our Letters!  We talked about their sounds, wrote the letters and discussed objects that begin with each letter.   Check our work out on the Smart Board.....

Grace is Star of the Week!

Grace Bauer is Star of the Week!  She is such a cutie!!  She brought many things from home that reflect her adorable personality!  She brought a Rock Star Barbie, a

 doodle pad and a bear from Build a Bear!  Grace loves Strawberries and plays hide and go seek all the time!  The thing she loves the most in the world is “making brownies with my mommy!” 

I had to include this photo of Grace!  Check it out....the best part is mom has identical picture with her twin brother Gavin!  Except he is eating ribs!  PRICELESS!!!

On Monday we have the opportunity to go to the Library at Roberts!  We also have a few minutes in the Loft just to "relax and read!"  I love these pics!
