As you can tell...Andre is a ball to have in the classroom!!  He is turning 5 today!!!  Hope it is a great one!

Yesterday was an exciting day in Pre-K!  We waited and watched for snow to begin!  They were so cute!

Preston and the Sweet Bear Shop!!

The star of the Week is Preston Binz.  He is four years old and loves cheeseburgers!  He has a little sister named Addison.  His favorite thing to do is to go to school! (I didn’t pay him to say that!)  His favorite book is Harold and the Purple Crayon.  His favorite color is blue.  Preston keeps us laughing and I think I see all of his teachers laughing with this sweet little one In the future!  What a cutie!

The Sweet Bear Shop is open for Business!

We have changed our housekeeping center into a Coffee/Donut Shop!  The kids loved it!!  They were taking orders, filling orders and giving out receipts!  PRECIOUS!!!

SNOW AT ROBERTS!

The Snow is still at Roberts and it has been FUN!!  We have used the snow in our water center and we have had a BLAST!  We timed how long it would take for the snow to melt when we brought it inside.  We completed a Prediction Graph about snow a few weeks ago....So we reviewed our predictions and completed it by writing the date that it snowed in Little Rock!

Due to the snow....we had a special visitor!  Baby Brooke attended Roberts on Wednesday for a few hours before here school opened!  She fit right in and the kids were so sweet to her!  So precious!

We had indoor recess this week due to the extreme low temperatures!  We even did a yoga video!  They were cute!

There was some deep breathing going on!!  Teachers and Students!!

Winter is Here!!  The bears are hibernating in Pre-K!!  The children were so cute putting our bears in the cave!

They were so precious!  Good Night Little Bears!  We will see you in Spring!



BALL DAY!!

It is Ball Day!! 

Don't you just love this picture!  They were so pumped to go outside and play with the balls.  The balls were an excellent topic today to correlate with the Letter Bb.  We compared the sizes, colors, the height of each bounce and weight.  We discussed the balls similarities and differences.  It also was a way for each child to show cooperation to play with others and sharing with others.  They practiced taking turns bouncing, kicking and just HAVING FUN!!!



GO HOGS!!

Go Hogs!  There is no question who Roberts is cheering for tonight....THE RAZORBACKS!  Today when you walk our halls you see red and hear classes calling the Hogs!  Even mine....A Mississippi State Graduate, but how can you not love the Hogs?  Since we moved to Little Rock each year I have loved them more and more!  Even my 2 year old calls the Hogs!!  I will always be a Bulldog, but I think my heart is big enough for two teams.  Plus, if we stay in Little Rock....Benton has already said "I am going to be a Razorback!"

WELCOME BACK!!

WELL.....The day has come!  We will be returning to school tomorrow in our Razorback attire to Roberts!  I can't wait to hear all about the Christmas Break from each of the children!  Hope everyone had a great holiday and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
