Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Friends....It has been busy around Roberts Elementary!  We have been busy with Field Trips, Birthdays, Carnivals and Teacher Record Day!  There is much to catch up on today.....

First, Our Field Trip was a BLAST!!  We had so much fun at Motley's Pumpkin Patch!  I think the kids loved the bus also!  Check out our pics and video from the trip....

Look at this Birthday Girl!  She is also a twin!!  Gavin and Grace celebrated turning 5 on October 13th!  Love the hat!!!

BUSY BEARS!!!

Today the Bounds Bears were very busy!  We visited the Computer Lab for the first time!  They were so excited about each having a computer and some extra time without having to share!!!  They visited http://www.starfall.com/! 

Center time is soooo precious in our room.  You will witness some of the sweetest acts of kindness, funny sayings, cute conversations or just a precious child reading a book.  Today, Rylan and Andre were very into the Workbench Center!  Hope you enjoy!





Star of the Week....Limes, Lemons and Birthday Cookie Cake! We are BUSY!!!

Lovely Letter Ll!

We began learning about Letter Ll today in class!  We discussed the characteristics of the Letter Ll and the /l/ sound!  We had a taste test of limes and lemons.....you can see the video to see the reactions!!

Happy Birthday Rachel!

Today Rachel turned 5!  We had a special visit from her mommy with a Cookie Cake! 

Our Star of the Week is Elizabeth Moses!!!



Elizabeth is an adorable four year old girl who loves the camera! She brought her Dora pillow, her princess book and her Nintendo DS from home.  Elizabeth is such a loving child!  Watch out….she might be America’s Next Top Model!



SSSSSSSSSSSuper FUN!!!

We have had a Super time this week studying the Letter Ss!  We have been very busy and silly!!!  We had Silly Sock day yesterday and our socks kept us laughing all day!  Look at our pics!!!

Today we made Stone Soup!  We read the story and made a recipe card!  Enjoy this video to see how we created it!

FALL IS HERE!

Fall is here!  Our cottage has been decorated for the Fall Season and for the Math and Literacy Carnival next week!  We hope everyone can make it next Thursday night!  Kids can wear their costumes!

Book Fair is HERE!!!  We have enjoyed having the Book Fair right next door to our classroom!  We have seen so many kids come in and out of the Fair!  If you haven't been by to see the books!  Come by anytime from 8:30-3:30 until Friday!  We even had a visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog!

Silly Sock Day is tomorrow!  Pics to come!!!

Grandparent's Day!

Grandparent's Day was a Huge Success!  We had a full house and they had so much fun showing their Grandparents around the classroom!  I think this video will tell you how we feel about them....

We also had Special Readers last Friday!  John and Sarah Haman came and read a special bedtime story for us!  Rachel was so happy to have her family at Roberts!
