A BIG MILESTONE!!!!!

Today in class we hit a milestone!  I am so proud to announce that Juan raised his hand and added a word to our "F" web today!  We have been waiting on this to happen all year!  He is doing so well!  We were so proud!  It was a must share moment!

We completed our Ff week with FUN FRIDAY!!!  We had some extra recess and had more playtime with our new toys!

OOOOOOO-LA-LA! Pre-K goes Fancy for Letter Ff!!!

As a teacher there are days that you won't forget....well today was one of them!  The children were adorable in their fancy clothes and they were so precious walking together to the Dining Room!  I have some pics ready today and I will post more tomorrow.  We had such a great time and a BIG THANK YOU for the parents that contributed to this special event!

New Toys!!!

This week we received some new items for our classroom!  We were very excited about these additions!  Check out Andre and Annor working the new alphabet floor puzzle!

Tomorrow is Fancy Day!  We have been practicing for our Fancy Feast to celebrate the Letter Ff!  Many cute pics tomorrow!!!

WARNING....STOMACH BUG!!

Well....It has hit our room!  We have had numerous children out with a Stomach Bug!  At least we have a long weekend to recover and get well!  Ms. Gomillion and I did a deep cleaning this morning in the classroom!!!!  For the friends that were here today...We reviewed all of our Letters!  We talked about their sounds, wrote the letters and discussed objects that begin with each letter.   Check our work out on the Smart Board.....

Grace is Star of the Week!

Grace Bauer is Star of the Week!  She is such a cutie!!  She brought many things from home that reflect her adorable personality!  She brought a Rock Star Barbie, a

 doodle pad and a bear from Build a Bear!  Grace loves Strawberries and plays hide and go seek all the time!  The thing she loves the most in the world is “making brownies with my mommy!” 

I had to include this photo of Grace!  Check it out....the best part is mom has identical picture with her twin brother Gavin!  Except he is eating ribs!  PRICELESS!!!

On Monday we have the opportunity to go to the Library at Roberts!  We also have a few minutes in the Loft just to "relax and read!"  I love these pics!



I am Thankful to be at Roberts!!!

November is always the month that I reflect what I am so thankful about in my life.  This year I am so THANKFUL to be at ROBERTS!!!  I have enjoyed teaching these students, having wonderful parents and working in this beautiful building!  I truly am blessed to be able to go to work each and every day!  I have many things to post today....Teddy Bear Day, Fall Fun Activities, Special Visitors and Kids with Character! WHEW!  I was tired over the weekend!!!  Hope you enjoy!

Teddy Bear Day was a HIT!!  They loved spending time with their furry friends!



We had a blast at our Fall Activities!  It is so much fun celebrating these special days!

Captain Hook and Peter Pan (aka John and Sarah Haman) stopped by and read a story on Friday afternoon!  Check out these costumes...

We celebrated Kids with Character on Friday afternoon.  This month we discussed Responsibility!  The two children from our room were Grant Hu and Sophie Wall.  These two children always remember their belongings, take their notes home and always clean their centers!!



TTTTTTTTTTTTTTerrific!!!

We have been studying about the Letter Tt this week!  We practiced writing our letters on the Smart Board today! I think they are TTTTTTTTTTTerrific!!! 

We also have been discussing Halloween safety procedures for this upcoming weekend!  We had the "Stranger Danger" talk and the procedure for checking candy!  We completed a shared writing experience by asking the children...What is your favorite candy???

We have some chocolate lovers!!!
