Grandparent's Day!

Grandparent's Day was a Huge Success!  We had a full house and they had so much fun showing their Grandparents around the classroom!  I think this video will tell you how we feel about them....

We also had Special Readers last Friday!  John and Sarah Haman came and read a special bedtime story for us!  Rachel was so happy to have her family at Roberts!

We are so excited to have Ms. Gomillion returning tomorrow!  She will be coming back half days to see how she is feeling in the next few days.  We are hoping all will go well with her return!  I also wanted to share some pics from Donuts with Dad!

Star of the Week...GRANT HU!

Our Star of the Week is Grant Hu!

Our Star of the Week is Grant Hu.  He is a four year old boy who loves to play Go Fish!  His

favorite food is  mac and cheese!  His favorite center at school is the Computer!  He has a little sister named Grace!  Grant is an excellent reader and he loves to learn!  What a sweetie!

A is for Apple!!!

We have been studying the letter Aa this week!  We have discussed the /a/ sound and objects that begin with that sound.  We also have identified the letter Aa within context.  Look below how we found 12 A's in our Apple Tree Poem.

2 little Apples smiled down at me!

I shook that tree as hard as I could...

Down came the apples and

MMMMM.....They were good!

Ms. Gomillion is still doing well and resting at home!  We will keep you posted!  She is going to the doctor tomorrow. Thanks for all of your support!



Donuts with Dad!

What a turnout!  We had such a great time this morning eating donuts with our Dads!  It was so great seeing so many dads take time out of their day to come and spend time at school!  I have a few pics today and I will upload the rest over the weekend!

We have been busy this week studying the Letter Dd!  We painted dots on our Dd with our fingertips!  The kids had a great time exploring with the paint!  Check out our Dd's!

I'm sure all of you heard that I was out sick yesterday.  I had the stomach virus on Monday night and recovered all day yesterday!  We are looking forward to Donuts with Dad on Friday.  Many pics to come!



Star of the Week

Our Star of the Week is Sophie Wall!





Sophie is a sweet four year old little girl that loves to dance!  Her favorite food is pancakes!  She loves to play with her friend Eli and her favorite center is housekeeping.  She is such a little angel and we love her sweet spirit!

G is for Glasses

  The kids had a blast all day telling everyone in the school that it is GLASSES DAY!  All of these special activities help with the letter/sound association as we study each letter!  Hope you love these adorable pics!
